I contacted North Star RV Inspections to assist us by providing an unbiased 3rd party inspection of an RV we purchased in September of 2022. Our goal was to help us better understand and be better equipped to communicate the extensive list of warranty issues we were having with the 5th wheel purchase. This RV has been back to the dealer where we purchased it twice and then to a dealer where the factory took it the 3rd time which all resulted in poor workmanship, unfinished repairs and damage to the RV by the dealerships. Wade provided us options for the areas of the inspection that focused on our concerns regarding the manufacture and/or warranty related repairs to date. Wade also during the general overall inspection that he was providing discovered numerous items that already were either showing problems or most likely would create future issues that would be costly repairs to us if they were left unaddressed and were to fall outside of the manufacturers warranty period. The complete inspection process was very comprehensive and supportive for our situation. I also deemed it to be fair, unbiased and honestly reported as we had requested. The delivery of the report was extremely quick as to not slow down what ever process we would have been in (i.e. buy/sell/understand), and Wade's follow up to make sure we understood the report was immediate. If we are ever to purchase or sell again and we have the opportunity to utilize Wade with North Star Inspections we will not hesitate to get him involved before the purchase where the benefit of an inspection would have had the greatest value to us. After buying 3 NEW motorhomes and campers in the past and being disappointed to find many issues with each of them over time, I decided to look into getting a professional inspection on a new Jayco North Point 390CKDS fifth wheel that I was hoping to buy. Not having a referral and having never worked with an RV inspector before, I found a local company that seemed to fit the bill that had been doing them for about three years in and around the Fargo, ND area. I recently had the pleasure of working with North Star RV Inspections for an inspection on my camper, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. When buying a new rig from a solid brand like Jayco, you would think that it should have a clean bill of health, especially if the dealer has already done their walk thru. However, Wade found over 40 issues that the dealer missed and fully addressed before I took possession (Wade came back and made sure!) . The issues ranged from lack of sufficient sealant on the roof, to incorrectly wired batteries, to even small things like a missing sink plug in a bathroom. Having all of these things resolved before picking the unit up will undoubtedly save me a ton of headaches down the road. What impressed me the most about North Star RV Inspections was their commitment to customer satisfaction. First, when the dealer was not prepared for his inspection (they didn't have propane in the tanks and the drinking water was not connected, so those systems could not be tested), he returned for a second visit to complete the inspection. Then, a week after the inspection, I encountered an issue with my leveling system on a Saturday when both the camper manufacturer and leveling system manufacturer support departments were closed. Frustrated and unsure of what to do, I reached out to Wade for assistance. Despite it being his day off, he didn't hesitate to take my call and help me troubleshoot the problem. In just 10 minutes, he guided me through the steps to resolve the issue, providing exceptional support when I needed it the most. He has also told me several times to call if I ever have questions or need anything at all with my camper going forward. Wade was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He is great in every way. Did everything he could to get the inspection of the Newmar dutch star done within our time frame. As a new rv owner we knew nothing of what to look out for. While Wade did spend 2 days inspecting coach, he spent another day going through coach and training us on how to operate. This was after he was paid and report sent to us. He wants you to be happy . Also he is available after purchase for any questions you may have! The inspection came out good but he was very thorough and brought several things to our attention that needed service in near future . Again he has a vast knowledge of all rv systems and the education he gave us and common problems to look out for was so valuable to us . It was money very well spent. Great Service. I had North Star inspect a 13 year old Tiffin Allegro Bus. This was a across country purchase and even if I had the time to go inspect the vehicle I would have never known all the details to look into. The report was full of amazing detail on all of the systems, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and even fluid analysis. The inspection revealed many minor flaw and a couple major that allowed complete transparency between the buyer and seller. In the end we arrived at a fair price based on the feedback and completed the transaction. North Star was great with communication throughout the process. While was a bit more expensive than other quotes I received, I felt it was more than worth the price. I’ve even had a few follow up messages checking in post purchase. Highly Recommend!

I had Wade go inspect an older 1999 Safari that was a Craig’s list item in Fargo before I made the trip from Colorado in case it was a piece of junk! It was in terrible shape. Massive amounts of water damage and black mold…. He was very thorough and didn’t miss a thing! Sent me many pics to show what he found. Because of his inspection I saved alot of money! I owe you a lunch if I ever get to Fargo! Thank you sir!

I've known Wade for many years as a fine electrician. I was excited to have him inspect our travel trailer because I knew he would be very thorough and professional. I learned some knew things to help keep our camper in fine working condition and am very satisfied with the inspection.
